What is Goods receipt note (GRN)?
Definition
A goods receipt note is the document a store raises when material arrives from a supplier, recording what was received, how much and in what condition.
The GRN is matched with the purchase order and the supplier's bill, so you pay only for what arrived and passed inspection.
