What is Maker-checker?
Definition
Maker-checker is a control where one person creates a transaction and a second person must approve it before it takes effect.
It stops errors and fraud in orders, purchases and payments, because no single person can both raise and release a document.
Maker-checker in IndustryX
IndustryX adds a checker step to sales and purchase orders from the Professional plan; on lower plans orders are approved straight after creation.
